CONDITIONS OF PLAY

At Stable Stakes, we’re committed to creating a fair and enjoyable environment for golfers to challenge themselves and earn rewards. By entering a Stable Stakes game, you agree to follow these simple but important rules to keep the competition fun, fair, and rewarding for everyone.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older and hold a valid UK golf handicap to participate.

• Only scores from your first club competition of the day can be used for Stable Stakes games.

2. Playing Fair

​

• All participants must play and submit scores in full compliance with the Rules of Golf and the conditions set by their club.

• Acting as a marker? You’re responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the scores you record.

​

3. Score Integrity

​

• Honesty matters. Any attempt to manipulate scores or handicap records will result in disqualification and may lead to further action.

• Stable Stakes regularly audits scores, handicaps, and game results to maintain fairness.

4. Entering Games

​

• Entries must be submitted before the start of your club competition.

• Participants can enter up to three games per day, provided they meet the entry rules.

5. Prizes and Accounts

​

• Winnings are added to your Prize Account and can be redeemed for vouchers, not cash.

• Each participant is allowed one Prize Account, and it must be managed responsibly.

6. Fair Play First

​

• Competitors and markers must uphold the spirit of the game, playing by the rules and ensuring all scores are submitted honestly.

• Stable Stakes reserves the right to review and investigate any suspicious activity to protect the integrity of the competition.

7. Updates and Changes

​

• From time to time, we may update the Conditions of Play to improve the experience or maintain fairness. By continuing to participate, you’re agreeing to any updates made.
